Seth Stephens
Seth studied industrial technology and business administration at Ball State University. He handles wholesale accounts and website services.
How Chinampas Web started
The farm needed a website. Other small businesses did too.
While building the Chinampas website, we saw how many good small businesses did not have the time or technical help to build and maintain their own site.
That became Chinampas Web. The website work also helps support our goal of growing fresh local food in Southwest Colorado.
The name
Where the name comes from.
The name comes from the raised-field farming systems used in the lakes of central Mexico. We chose it out of respect for a way of farming built around water, fertility, access, and community. Our farm in Colorado does not claim to recreate that historic practice.
