Tenfold Dual-Extraction Tincture
We make Tenfold at our farm in Cortez. Each batch starts with 10 ounces of dried mushrooms, divided evenly between ten kinds. We extract the same mushroom blend with food-grade alcohol and hot water, then combine the two liquids.

What we use in each batch.
- Batch
- 10 ounces of dried mushrooms, divided evenly between ten kinds.
- Extraction base
- 500 milliliters of 99% food-grade alcohol and 1,000 milliliters of filtered water.
How we make it
Alcohol and hot-water extraction.
- We divide 10 ounces of dried mushrooms evenly between the ten kinds.
- The blend soaks in 500 milliliters of 99% food-grade alcohol for more than two weeks.
- We filter the liquid, then simmer the same mushroom material in 1,000 milliliters of filtered water for 8 to 12 hours.
- We combine the alcohol extract and the hot-water extract to finish the tincture.
